Native Plant Garden

SEPTEMBER 2024 — Another fall installation complete! Very happy with this pollinator garden in Irvington. This garden has great bones, with short stone retaining walls, and a cool mix of plantings, including some tall asparagus and super-dramatic yucca. Unfortunately, it had all gotten a little overrun with the usual invasive weeds that plague lots of Westchester gardens.

We cleared away the weeds and had a great canvas for new pollinator plants and native shrubs. Planting in the fall gives a garden a great head start for next year and this pollinator garden will be lush & full next summer.
