Front Yard Pollinator Oasis

Ben & Courtney invited us to replace a big patch of Pachysandra with a vibrant pollinator oasis that would bring life & color to their front yard. We gave them the nicest garden on the block! Deer are a constant presence in this heavily wooded neighborhood, so we selected perennials and shrubs that deer tend to avoid, including lots of flowering herbs like sage, fennel and thyme. Winterberry, Inkberry, Red Osier Dogwood and American Beautyberry provide bright colors on gray winter days.
